Installation Guide

Follow these steps to install Perfume Compare in your browser

First, download the extension:

Download Extension (.zip)

Chrome Installation

1 Extract the ZIP file
Unzip the downloaded file to a folder on your computer. Remember where you saved it!
2 Open Extensions page
Type chrome://extensions in your address bar and press Enter.
3 Enable Developer Mode
Toggle the "Developer mode" switch in the top-right corner of the page.
4 Load the extension
Click "Load unpacked" and select the folder where you extracted the extension files.
5 Pin the extension
Click the puzzle icon in the toolbar and pin Perfume Compare for easy access.
Tip: The extension icon will appear in your toolbar. Click it when you're on a Parfumo Souk search page!

Edge Installation

1 Extract the ZIP file
Unzip the downloaded file to a folder on your computer. Remember where you saved it!
2 Open Extensions page
Type edge://extensions in your address bar and press Enter.
3 Enable Developer Mode
Toggle the "Developer mode" switch in the bottom-left corner of the page.
4 Load the extension
Click "Load unpacked" and select the folder where you extracted the extension files.
5 Pin the extension
Click the puzzle icon in the toolbar and pin Perfume Compare for easy access.
Tip: Edge uses Chrome's extension format, so installation is very similar!
Note: Since this extension isn't from the Chrome Web Store, Chrome may show a warning. This is normal for developer-mode extensions. The extension only works on Parfumo pages and doesn't collect any data.
Important: You must be logged into parfumo.de to see prices. Create a free account if you don't have one.

Troubleshooting

"Load unpacked" button not visible?

Make sure Developer mode is enabled. The toggle should be ON (blue/colored).

Extension not working on Parfumo?

Make sure you're logged into Parfumo and are on a Souk search results page (URL contains "s_souk.php" or "/Souk").

Updates?

To update, download the new version, replace the old folder, and click "Update" on the extensions page.
